We are a company specializing in the development, manufacture, and repair of aviation components. We supply our customers with components for hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems. With a long-standing history and tradition, we have established a strong market position based on our technical expertise and commitment to quality. Today, we employ approximately 70 professionals who contribute to the development, production, and testing of products for the aviation industry. Our goal is continuous innovation, ensuring the reliability and precision of our instruments, which meet the highest standards of the aerospace sector.
HISTORY AND KEY MILESTONES
1908
Establishment of a factory that would later become Technometra. It was an electric meter repair and calibration workshop located in Vysočany, Prague.
1915
Production limited due to World War I.
1922
Joint factory for electric meters founded between Elektrotechnické akciové továrny and Comptator G.m.b.H.
1923
Official registration in the Commercial Register and the official founding of the Továrna na elektrická počítadla s.r.o.
1925
Start of transformer and loudspeaker production for radios.
1927
Expansion into current limiters of the Jacobsen system.
1929
Production of "Praga" dry gas meters.
1937
Expansion into neon signs, automotive instruments, tachometers, pressure gauges, and air filters.
1945
Nationalization of the factory and integration into the Kolbenka enterprise.
1947
Integration into the national enterprise Křižík in Smíchov, Prague.
1949
Separation from the Křižík national enterprise and establishment of the independent enterprise TECHNOMETRA.
1951
Adoption of fuel and aviation hydraulic instrument production.
1954
Hydraulic instruments for the L-60 and IL-14 aircraft.
1957
Start of civilian hydraulics production for the HSC-4 truck crane and dump trucks.
1960
Launch of unit production for the first Czechoslovak jet trainer aircraft, the L-29 Delfin.
1964
Development and production of components for the second-generation jet aircraft, the L-39 Albatros.
1975
Relocation to a new building in Prague 10 - Hostivař.
1998
Merger with Praga Hostivař.
2007
Move to a new facility in Český Brod. Production of instruments for the L-410 aircraft.
2024
Technometra Český Brod a.s. becomes a subsidiary of AERO Vodochody.
